Formatting & Layout
Alternatively, you may simply provide your text and leave the formatting to us. Our experienced team will space and arrange the engraving to ensure the best visual balance and readability for your chosen plaque size.

Please note that long date formats are best engraved across two lines, unless a very small font is used. For narrow plaques (especially around 75mm width), date ranges such as: 1st December 1945 – 21st November 2025 must be engraved over two lines to maintain clarity and a clean, professional appearance.

Character Limits (Guide Only)

• 50mm x 20mm – Up to 3 lines, max 18 characters per line

• 70mm x 25mm – Up to 4 lines, max 30 characters per line

• 100mm x 25mm – Up to 4 lines, max 40 characters per line

• 100mm x 30mm – Up to 5 lines, max 40 characters per line

• 125mm x 30mm – Up to 5 lines, max 40 characters per line

• 125mm x 40mm – Up to 6 lines, max 40 characters per line

These limits are a general guide. We can often accommodate slightly more text by adjusting font size, and we can also engrave small symbols or emojis, such as a heart. Please send us font name you want.
